The first conference of the European Research Network on Signal Transduction (ERNEST, COST Action CA18133) will take place at the Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland on October 28-30, 2019. The conference will focus on recent advances in GPCRs pharmacology as well as systems biology strategies for advancing the main goal of ERNEST, namely development of a multidimensional holistic map of GPCR signal transduction. The program will cover GPCR macromolecular interactions in signalling pathways, biological roles of signal transduction and chemical modulators of GPCR signalling. In addition, the meeting will gather technical and conceptual developments in structural determination, functional analysis and computational modelling of GPCR macromolecular complexes. The goal of the meeting is to further our understanding of GPCR signal transduction at the molecular, cellular, and systems level, so as to facilitate the development of more effective GPCRs medicines.
